The Geotab GO9 GPS and telematics device accurately records a vehicle’s trips and analyzes its incidents, including accident detection and notification. GO9 offers optional in-vehicle alerts* and instantly notifies drivers of infractions such as harsh braking or speeding. Driver modification can lead to a safer, more efficiently run fleet.

GO9 provides real-time telematics and GPS for any fuel-run or electric vehicle and features a 32-bit processor, more memory, more RAM, and a gyroscope. Simply plug the GO9 into the OBDII port and begin recording and monitoring driver and vehicle events to allow quick, well-informed decisions for fleet utilization, optimization, and risk management.

Driver Habits

Geotab offers exceptional harsh-event data (acceleration, braking, cornering, etc.) and collision reconstruction through our patented algorithms and the GO device’s accelerometer. The GO9’s gyroscope improves on the current X/Y/Z axis acceleration logging by providing a real-time sense of the vehicle’s orientation. The GO9 can track and analyze vehicle movement more accurately than before, particularly on winding or bumpy roads.

Accident Detection & Notification

Set up email or desktop alerts that give you the first notice of loss. If a suspected collision is detected, detailed forensic data will be automatically uploaded from the GO device to allow for forensic reconstruction of the event. Moreover, the GO9 also has the unique ability to detect in-vehicle reverse collisions.
