E.J. Ward, Inc. is hiring a Regional Sales Manager for our Midwest territory. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in fuel management, GPS, EV, automation systems, telecommunications, electrical systems, construction services, or technology in government or commercial fleet operations.

Territory
Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Indiana, and Missouri. Illinois residence preferred but not required.
Compensation
Base Salary, commission, medical insurance, company car.
Primary Location
Home-based position.
Responsibilities
This is an individual contributor position not a sales team management opportunity.
- Identify market opportunities and develop strategies to maximize impact, including participating in the development of long-range sales and growth strategies.
- Create and review proposals and estimates to ensure accuracy, company standards, and professional quality meet customer and company objectives.
- Maintain ongoing contacts with large/key accounts, considering customers’ needs relative to new product development.
- Develop and execute a strategy to build relationships within the public and private fleet community to increase our specification rate in RFP’s.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field is highly preferred, although candidates with a combination of education (High School Diploma) and directly related experience will be considered.
- 4+ years of sales experience.
- Experience with sales of fuel management, GPS, EV, automation systems, telecommunications, electrical systems, construction services, or technology for commercial and government fleet operations is highly desirable.
Other Requirements
- Required travel: 50%, or more monthly.
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and negotiation skills in English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and utilization of a CRM.
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
